An image made on a silently humid day in summer 2020. In the middle of the pandemic, I gained an appreciation for the National Mall. For the first time, I was able to notice details about the buildings and landscape without throngs of tourists. In the midst of uncertainty and unease, this opportunity to see old buildings in new ways was a welcome escape.
